christmas angel needed

Hi,
I have two little boys they are six and eight. My husband was laid off three weeks ago. We just dont know how we are going to make it. We spend every day looking for work we do understand it takes time. We know we are very blessed to be healthy and to have a roof over our heads for now. My heart melts when i look at my two boys and see the joy and excitment in there eyes when they think about christmas. I would do anything to see them smile and be happy christmas morning. we have looked into local help but being this close to christmas we are too late to sign up.My heart goes out to all the other familes in this same situation. I do believe things will get better in our economy. If there is anyone out there looking to help my husband and i would be very greatful and you will help make two little boys very happy christmas morning. ( we dont need much any presents for boys would be great ) Merry christmas to all and a happy new year....

Please help us for Christmas

I am a disabled mother of three teen girls. They give up so much to help me. I just want them to have that one thing that I can't afford for Christmas. Is there anyone in the Minnesota area that can help.

Don't want kids to be sad as me

I wake up every morning, thankful I'm alive, and then I cry because that's what my 4 year old son asked me for christmas, is to promise him I'm not going into the hospital again, especially on Christmas. After being in there 15 already this year,i wish I could make and keep that promise. My husband and I can't even provide presents to help keep all 3 of our boys minds off of my illness. Its going to be so hard to tell them.

How do you break your kids heart by telling them santa missed our house this year? We moved recently, to accommodate my disabled father in law, so I decided to lie. Pitiful,i know but I'm going to say,"sorry boys, santa didn't get told we moved in time, maybe he'll find our new house next year"
Just one day I pray they would be able to enjoy themselves and not worry about me.

Help my family for Christmas

Hello, I am writing to see if anyone or group could assist me in finding help for Christmas? My husband and I are both out of work, we have 2 daughters. We are constantly looking for any kind of work and luckily we are able to barely keep the roof over our heads. My husband works construction and with the times he has not been able to find work. I lost my job in January when I fell and broke my ankle. My girls are so understanding that we do the best we can. I know Christmas is not about gifts, but how do I tell my 10 yr that Santa can't visit. I appreciate any and all help!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Help

I am a mother and student of 6...I have three girls and three boys that were born healthy other than having two kids with Alopecia and one with Alopecia Universalis Just thankful they are healthy. My kids are my world and I would do anything for them..but this year I have fallen short. and I am looking for someone with a kind heart to adopt my family for Christmas. I know its a lot to ask for but anything will help. My kids have never been picky nor asked for things that I can't afford. I have always been told I have great kids. So I am just asking anyone that is fortunate enough to be able to help out my family this Christmas..

Need Adopt A Family Help For The Holidays

I am the mother of 4 children with various disabilities and delays. I survived a husband who was physically, mentally, sexually, emotionally and verbally abusive. Our family just moved here from the Florida in April. Finances are strained tight now and we are barely getting by.
My oldest son, Daniel is 19 although mentally he is only about 13. He has Mild/Moderate Mental Retardation, Anxiety, Depression, Expressive/Receptive Language Disorder and Combined Type ADHD. He has hyper distended wrists, an extremely toed-in walk and slack muscle tone (hypotonia). He takes 2 medications for the psychiatric conditions and is in an Alternative High School. He receives Speech, Occupational and Physical therapies in school as well as Adaptive Phys Ed and Counseling.
My younger son, Damian (15) has Pervasive Developmental Disorder (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Bipolar Disorder, Aggression, Combined Type ADHD and Expressive/Receptive Language Disorder. He takes 3 medications for his psychiatric conditions. He attends a special education program where he receives Speech, Occupational and Physical therapies as well as Adaptive Phys Ed and Counseling.
My older daughter, Dakota (12) has Aggression, Depression, Anxiety, Combined Type ADHD as well as a mild hearing impairment. She takes 3 medications for these conditions as well. She has had tubes placed in her ears to improve her hearing. She attends a Collaborative Team Teaching class and she receives Counseling in school.
My younger daughter, Amanda (10) has had delays in all aspects of her development since she was born. Her fine motor, gross motor, speech, social and educational skills have been significantly delayed. She attends a Collaborative Team Teaching class ( in a school for children with behavioral problems) where she receives Speech, Physical and Occupational therapies as well as Counseling. She was diagnosed with Combined Type ADHD, Aggression, Conduct Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder and has been put on 3 medications.
My family also includes 3 "therapy" dogs (Chica, Buddy and Sassy). These dogs were rescues from FL, GA and NC and they are being trained to assit my children and I in their needs and in "crisis" situations. Chica will "retrieve" a child that falls and bring him/her to me. She will also bring tetephone to me, when needed. Buddy provides tactile stimulation and soothing reassurance to my children with Autism when they are having a "rough day". Sassy is our "newest" and her training is still a work in progress. We haven't quite figured out her "niche" yet.
I am unable to work as the children need me at home to supervise the distribution of morning, afternoon and evening medications as well as to schedule and attend various doctor appointments with them. Three of the four children receive SSI and the 4th child and myself are on Public Assistance. We receive $113 in Food Stamps. I do NOT receive any cash assistance from Public Assistance for myself and my 4th child.
We often have to go to food pantries to make up the difference in food for the month and any additional clothing the children need we usually get there. (Sometimes we are lucky enough to get the dogs' some food there too.)
I am doing the best that I can but it is a constant struggle and I myself am not well. I suffer from Migraines very badly and take medication daily to control them. I also take medication to sleep as I suffer from Insomnia and I suffer from Bipolar Disorder and Anxiety. I take medication for these as well.
My children are MY LIFE and there is NOTHING I wouldn't do for them! They have been very good this year in school and at home. They deserve SO much more than I can give them right now. I moved them away from everything they ever knew and everyone they loved. Now I need help to make their 1ST Christmas here a happy one for them.
I am NOT a lazy person and, since I cannot stay home all day, while the children are at school, I try (on my good days) to "give back" to others by assisting a social worker. I am an outreach worker for her clients who are in need of services outside the realm of her agency. I do this on a voluntary basis. However rewarding, this activity does not increase my income and so, I am coming to you for assistance.
I am asking for your assistance with food, toys or clothing for my children for the holidays. We would be so very grateful for anything we received.
My oldest son, Daniel Jr., is a size Men's 2XL in shirts and pants
(36 x 34 or 36) and a size 12 in shoes or sneakers.
My younger son, Damian, is a size 32 in pants (Men's L) and in shirts and a size 11.5 in shoes or sneakers.
My oldest daughter, Dakota, is a Girls size 14 or (S) in shirts and pants and a size 8.5 in shoes and sneakers.
My baby daughter, Amanda, is a size Girls 16 or (XL) in pants and Women's L in shirts and size 8.5 in shoes and sneakers.
As far as toys go, they don't have anything (since they had to leave almost everything back in FL when we moved) so they would love anything they received. They love arts and crafts sets, nature sets, hand held video games, barbie dolls, Fushigi ball, Lego blocks, and pretend play sets. They love Moon Sand, Aquadots, WWE Wrestlers, Yugioh, Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, educational PC games, kids DVD movies or kids CDs and coloring supplies.
They would love new blankets, quilts or sheets (Twin or Full size) for their rooms too since we came here with next to nothing. We could also use food gift certificates as well 9and maybe a little something for the dogs too. Anything at all would be great and REALLY appreciated!!!

Well, thanks for listening and thanks for your time and for reading this letter. May God Bless You and Yours this holiday season.

Need Adopt A Family Christmas Assistance

I am a single mother of a 10 year old daughter who is on disability for bipolar/anxiety disorder!  My daughter's father, my ex husband quit paying child support and lost all contact about 2 years ago.  This hurt my daughter deeply even though she hadn't seen him then in several years he at least used to call her once in a while...no more. Anyway we have a family of feral and abandoned cats that we are feeding.  We cannot take them to our Animal Shelter because it is inhumane and they would be gassed to death or sold out for expermentation.  I am trying every way I know how to get help with food through local stores, etc.  I am also searching the internet for spay/neuter/return programs.

Anyway we just run out of money every month even for our basic needs so we do not have to let them just starve to death.  I believe we should help Gods creatures.  But...I am not going to have money to give my daughter a good Christmas this year and was looking to see if there was anyone interested in adopting our home for Christmas.  We would just love you from the bottom of our hearts if someone would open their hearts to my daughter!!!

Thanks and sincerely, Deb

NEED HELP WITH CHRISTMAS FOR MY 3 CHILDREN

Hello, we are a family of 5 with 3 children and 1 on the way, I had to stop working for the time because of complications with my pregnancy. I am not asking for anything for myself, just the kids and the new baby if you would like, I gave all my baby items away thinking I would not have anymore children.

My boy's are Tommy, he just turned 17 he would love clothing new or good used condition or gift certificates from american eagle or second hand Hollister clothing in good used condition, he wears size 32/34 pants and mens M shirts. My Middle son Jared is 12 he has several disabilities and has had a really rough few years in and out of treatment programs, he and my other kids really want a nintendo Wii but I can not afford to get them one for christmas, I know this is  to expensive to ask for so anything would be fine, he likes music, yugi-oh cards, games, rc vehicles handheld games. he wears size 12 pants and 12/14 shirts.                               My youngest is Zach he is pretty easy to please, he loves diego, wonderpets, wowwow wubbzy, backyardagains, tonka and john dear trucks, electronic games, he wears size 4 pants and 5 shirts.

I am willing to send copy of the reciepts for items bought if you request if sending the kids gift certificates. I can also take donations via paypal Sherri1972@comcast.net for gifts where I would also send a copy of reciepts showing what I bought for the kids if you request them, I just want them to have a nice christmas!

Thank You for reading!

God Bless

Sherri and Family

A very concerned, hard-working mother

I am a mother of three young boys. I work and go to college full-time. I really do not get to spend as much time with them as I would like too, at least I could try to make a dream come true, by having a wonderful Christmas. They make good grades in school. I am asking for help with Christmas this year. With the economy not working for us but against minorities, it is becoming very hard to support my family. My boys deseerve nice gifts for Christmas and at this present time, I am not able to give them what they deserve. I can supply their needs but I do not have money for any extras. If anyone is willing to help, please contact me.

Their ages are 13,10,19 months, all boys

A very concerned hard-working mother.

Firefighter family in need 4 children with mom not able to work

I am a 31 yr old firefighter that has a wonderful wife and 4 kids. We were doing great until my wife was diagnosed with a mental health illness that causes her not to be able to deal with the stress of work. I make decent money but am now about to lose our house unless i can start making more money for the family. A while back when she was working we bought a nice 3 bedroom house for us and all of our kids. But with her not working until her benefits start to kick in from the state I cant afford our home. I am a very dedicated father, husband and firefighter. I responded to help the Katrina victums for 16 days . I am constantly training to better educate myself so I can serve my community better. I am very worried because in this part of missouri it is almost impossible to find a rental home for 4 kids./ We have two 8 yr old daughters, one 5 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. I work very hard to provide for them but I just keep coming up short every month. I love my wife more than anything and support her and her condition but she cant go back to work with her illness or else the stress will put her back in the hospital. Her and our 5 yr old daughter are hearing impaired , and our oldest has generalized anxiety disorder. I spend most of my days off taking them to the doctors for their appointment and taking care of the family to keep the stress level down at home. At work I run out in the middle of the night to help a complete stranger in need. And now I am in need of help keeping my home for my family but dont know where to turn to, hoping some more fortunate american family would help my family get back on our feet until things level out. We have some very smart beautiful kids we are raising and are only wanting the best for them. I would appreciate some help to get us up and going .
